Grateful Oak Renovation has been improving our home weekly for the last several months. Pete modified my existing kitchen cabinets to accommodate an icemaker, perfectly matching the style and paint color. In 100 degree heat, he utilized extra materials from a recent patio addition to build a matching firewood shelter big enough to hold all the wood I need for my meat smoker side business. He has installed new lights, TVs, shelves, and new smoke alarms. He has repaired drywall, cabinets, doors, hinges, crown molding, and more. He has all the tools for the job no matter what crazy idea I pitch to him. Despite having only recently met him, I consider Pete a friend...but I gladly pay him $90/hr...and it's well deserved.

Pete came highly recommended as a jack-of-all-trades, and I could tell right away the recommendation was well deserved. He arrived early, reviewed my list, and got started immediately. The property is a rental, with one tenant moving out and another moving in just a week later, and Grateful Oak had the place move-in ready on time and under budget. Pete even suggested a few improvements I hadn't considered, which not only saved money but also enhanced the overall look of the home. Some of the work completed included installing new cabinet hardware, updating lighting and ceiling fans, new smoke alarms, repairing the disposal, shower door, drywall, doorbell, and rear patio door. What impressed me most, though, was Pete's honesty. Rather than trying to do everything himself, he pointed out a few items that could be handled more quickly and cost-effectively by others. That kind of integrity is rare, and it gave me even more confidence in his work.

We called Grateful Oak Renovation to our home to review a list of repairs. Pete was thoughtful in his responses and even suggested when another trade might be better suited for certain tasks. For the work he could complete, he got started right away. When additional materials were needed for a major repair, he returned promptly with everything required. Pete removed and rebuilt a rotten eave on the corner of our roof. He always cleaned up after himself and remained pleasant and professional - even while working in 90 - degree heat on a ladder removing rotten wood. I am planning to have Grateful Oak return soon to install cabinets and countertops for our new office. Highly recommended!

Grateful Oak Renovation, LLC is now our first call for handyman projects. Pete did an excellent job for us, completing a lot of small items tht needed to be done. He built BEAUTIFUL wooden shelves for the bathroom, repaired drywall, installed shelves in our walk-in attic, replaced deck boards, assembled new patio furniture, trimmed a tree, and hauled off unused flooring and a satellite dish. He arrived on time, was professional, and cleaned everything up so wellthat you couldn't even tell he was here. On top of that, he's a nice guy! We have already started a new list for him to tackle.

Pete with Grateful Oak Renovation is our handyman. I always have a list ready for him, and if he can't knock something out that day, he comes back prepared with the needed materials. His quality work for us includes the following: modifying cabinets to accommodate ice maker, replacing the pump for our ice maker drain, repairing plumbing leaks, repairing drywall ceiling, hanging perfectly level pictures, TVs, curtain rods, lighting upgrades, bed frame repair, storage solutions, trim work, safety rail repair, threshold repair, and much more. He always cleans up after himself and hauls off packaging and waste materials so we don't have to overfill our rollout containers.

I found Grateful Oak on Nextdoor and initially spoke with Pete about wiring our new convection range we got to replace the existing gas range. He arrived promptly and after examining the wiring he suggested a licensed electrician, since a new circuit needed run from the breaker. We discussed some other projects and before he left we got new valves and hoses installed under all sinks and toilets. The next time he visited, we got a new toilet installed. Very clean and courteous. Highly recommend Pete with Grateful Oak.

I recently moved into a new home and Pete, with Grateful Oak Renovation helped out with SO much to get me settled in and comfortable. He installed blinds, a new disposal, cabinets above my washer/dryer, 14 ft. high ceiling fans, new toilets, furniture assembly, TV mounting which required additional blocking, and much, much more. At the end of each day, he would fill his truck with boxes and trash to haul away. I recommend Grateful Oak Renovation if you have a list of home improvements and you want to have things done well.

Pete is a reliable, hardworking handyman with plenty of experience in cabinetry, countertops, and all kinds of home projects. No problem is ever too big or too small for him. He will find a solution. He's efficient, great with time, and easy to work with and his wit, charm, and smile make the whole process enjoyable. Even my 7-year old was fascinated by him, and I truly appreciate how Pete took a moment to teach him a thing or two. I highly recommend Pete for any home imporovement needs.

I had a piece of siding that needed to be replaced. I had a couple other people come out and they ghosted me and never came back to do the work. I found Pete on Facebook and I'm so glad I did! Pete was so great. He came out and fixed the siding quickly and did a great job! He was very nice and professional. I would recommend Pete for any projects you have around your home, you won't be disappointed!!

We'd been experiencing an electrical issue in our home causing half of our living room and kitchen to be without power. Pete was great to work with - easy to book and appointment and his communication was always open. He showed up pormptly, identified our electrical issue and fixed it so swiftly! I'd definitely recommend Pete, and will surely contact him again for issues he may be able to assist us with!

Grateful Oak was contacted to upgrade our kitchen lighting. While he was here he suggested a cabinet hardware upgrade and what a difference new handles made in the whole cabinet aesthetic! He also took apart the drawers in a cabinet to repair a broken cabinet frame. Pete did a great job with a friendly attitude. Very personable, professional, and conscientious. Left the place very clean. I will absolutely use his services again, and I'm picky, lol.

We needed our dishwasher replaced because the builder grade model we had just wasn't cutting it. Pete showed up with everything he needed to remove the old and install the new appliance. In addition to getting the dishwasher installed, he rerouted the drain line into the disposal because the builder had it tied directly into the drain for some reason. When he was done, the kitchen was cleaner than when he arrived, and we now have a better dishwasher. Grateful Oak Renovation is great!

Grateful Oak Renovation responded to a post I put on our Facebook neighborhood page inquiring about replacing our disposal. Pete arrived on time and after looking at it, said he could fix our disposal without the need to replace it. Although we wanted the new one we had already purchased, it was nice of him to try to save us money! He charges $90/hr, but since the job took much less time, he adjusted his fee. We will definitely call him again.

I had a list of items I wanted to discuss with Pete and when he arrived he was ready to get started. We discussed removing some trees, but he recommended strategically removing lower limbs and pruning to save costs. It looks great now, and we saved hundreds of dollars. When we are ready for more home improvements, we will be calling Grateful Oak Renovation!

Pete came over and did some electrical troubleshooting for me. He found some problems with previous work by another contractor and made repairs. In addition, he installed gutter guards on the roof while he was there. He was punctual, cheerful, and his prices were transparent and reasonable. I will definitely call Pete again for work in the future.

We have used Pete for several jobs in the past ranging from assembling furniture to a small painting job. He is very friendly, prompt, fair, and honest. The quality of his work is excellent and I appreciate that he will tell you if a certain job isn't in his wheelhouse. His prices are fair and he has become the top choice in our heighborhood for handyman jobs.

We had Pete come to our house to fix a leaky faucet. He was prompt, communicated the issue, and fixed it. As he was doing it, he also helped with another water pressure issue in the sinks that he felt would help us in the long run. He was very pleasant and we would recommend him to anyone that needs his home repair services.
